Overwhelming!
My community service is DONE!! I have spent a few long days with my mother to get all 30 of the required service learning hours finished. I am so very excited that I am done and did not leave a bunch of hours until the end of the semester. I don't know about you guys, but I have a million papers and tests coming up for these last few weeks of school. I have been working on the research paper with my group and am hoping that we can pull of an A paper in this time of chaos and stress. To top off the 3 papers and studying for test that I must do for finals, I am also moving for good! This is my last semester here at Purdue University (in West Lafayette)... sad but excited for the changes... In May I am off to Ireland to study abroad for 3 weeks then in the Fall I will be attending Purdue North Central, near my hometown. The most stressful thing about the entire situation is that I have to take finals, move home, pack for Ireland, and travel across the Atlantic Ocean, all within a 4-6 day span. For those of you who have still not completed your community service hours, I encourage you to get it out of the way as soon as possible or you may be as out-of-your-mind as me in the upcoming weeks. Good luck to everyone! Boiler Up!

I'm soo jealous that your all done with your service hours!! I guess I didn't really leave any off until the last minute but I still have a good 5 or so hours to go. And I think we have a super good start on our project so no worries about that. I feel like we already talked about the end of the year at our group meeting, but I bet going to Ireland will be so fun! I went there went I was in middle school and it's so beautiful, and the food there is so good. Its weird, its not like exotic food but the soup is literally amazing and theres so many yummy types haha just a heads up:) Good luck with everything at the end of school and good luck next year, I’m sure you’ll do great wherever you end up!
ReplyDeleteThat’s so awesome that you’ve finished all of your community service! I’m jealous to be honest, I still have a good nine or ten hours to go, but I’ve at least got a plan of action to get them done as soon as possible while still maintaining my sanity. You’re right that things are definitely starting to get crazy around the campus. I never expected Spring Fever to translate into an avalanche of papers, tests, and projects!
ReplyDeleteTraveling to Ireland sounds like so much fun, even if it is study abroad. I hope you have time to see the sights in between studying and schoolwork.
